Developer artifacts / betaRun the same package outside the browser.
Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS are independent native MZI implementations—not Electron, not bundled browsers, and not platform builds of the application.

Install once.
Open every .mzi.
The per-user setup installs the native Win32 host and Wasmtime runner, adds MZI Host to the Start menu and associates signed .mzi applications with it. It needs no administrator access and includes the same three proof packages opened by Browser Host.
Unsigned beta: Windows SmartScreen may warn before launch. The host verifies the Ed25519-signed update feed, but automatic installation stays disabled until setup signing exists.

Local Windows 11 reference from the hostcore test harness: 100,000 actions over a persistent runner with a warm cache. Setup 0.3.0 is not code-signed; these are beta measurements, not cross-device promises.

The AppImages contain the dark GTK4 host, signed proof packages, font stack and static Wasmtime runner. Open or drop another .mzi, or use mzi dev . --launch to replace validated code and semantic UI inside one running native process.

The exact x64 AppImage passes a clean-Debian two-package smoke path without system GTK: approval, native control creation, a Wasm action, live package replacement and semantic rerender. ARM64 was executed under AArch64 emulation, so no ARM performance claim is published yet. A desktop Linux session is required; Docker, Go and Rust are build-time only.

The recommended starter is a real offline counter written in AssemblyScript. Windows Host 0.8 and Linux/macOS Host 0.7 previews stay open while dev validates and replaces each saved revision without surrendering the approved authority boundary.
Read the complete quickstart → # create TypeScript-like application logic
node mzi.mjs init hello-mzi --language assemblyscript
# install the pinned compiler once
cd hello-mzi
npm install
# open one host; live-reload every revision
node ../mzi.mjs dev . --launch
# stop the watcher with Ctrl+C
Current boundaryBrowser, Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS execute the real signed Field Notes Component. Android remains a private CI APK. iOS preview 3 executes in Simulator and ships a separate inspected but unsigned iPhoneOS ARM64 build using a no-JIT Swift interpreter with a 10 million instruction budget. Physical iPhone execution, public mobile signing and distribution, App Store policy validation and general Component composition remain open milestones.
